 Bio


 Born and raised in Israel, pianist Danielle Prag is making a name for herself on the scene

 Montreal musical style thanks to its deep sensitivity and authenticity

 captivating.

 Danielle started playing the piano at the age of 10.

 At age 14, she was admitted to one of Israel's most prestigious institutions, the

 Thelma Yellin International High School of the Arts.

 In Israel, Danielle studied with some of the best teachers in the country: Hanna

 Shalgi, Vadim Monastirsky and Emanuel Krasovsky. In 2010 she received her

 Bachelor of Arts in Performance from Tel Aviv University.

 After settling in Montreal, Danielle continued her higher education at

 McGill University under the direction of Marina Mdivani.

 A finalist in the Ariana Katz Piano Competition (2008), she has participated in classes

 masters with international pianists, such as Daniel Pollack (USA),

 Steffan Scheja (Sweden) and Daniel Shapiro (with whom she continues to work

 from time to time in Canada and the United States).

 Danielle has received annual scholarships from Tel Aviv University,

 McGill and the Montreal Conservatory.

 In June 2022, Danielle was invited to sit as an adjudicator for the piano examinations of the

 McGill Conservatory. That year, she received a Certificate of Internship from

 development of the Montreal Conservatory of Music, under the direction

 by André Laplante.

 She is currently pursuing her most recent degree with Richard Raymond at

 Conservatoire de Montréal, as part of the artist diploma program, where

 She continues to hone her skills as a soloist, chamber musician and

 vocal accompanist.
